The 2023 Budget was announced by the Department of Finance on Tuesday, 27 September 2022. This year’s Budget sets out an overall package worth €11 billion. This is comprised of a package of once-off measures of €4.1 billion, and budgetary measures for 2023 of €6.9 billion.

The Budget is generally announced in October but it took place 2 weeks earlier than usual in 2022.
